Infinity Nikki Unveils DIY Workshop and Dye System in Version 1.5
*Infinity Nikki* has officially revealed the details of the DIY Workshop, a highly anticipated feature in Version 1.5 that allows players to dye their hair, clothing, and even apply custom patterns to their outfits. This update follows months of speculation and excitement after the developers teased the feature during the Bullquet event in Version 1.3.
In the DIY Workshop, players can dye different parts of their outfits using eight-color palettes. While the first two color slots are unlocked by default, players can unlock additional slots by using dye materials. Special effects can also be dyed for certain 5-Star outfits, once players complete three Evolutions.
The dyeing system is integrated with the Evolution mechanic, rewarding players for evolving their outfits. Palettes are unlocked as players progress through outfit completion and Evolution stages. For example, 5-Star outfits offer 18 palettes, 4-Star outfits unlock 13 palettes, and 3-Star outfits come with 10. The final unlockable feature is the “Custom Color” palette, allowing players to choose from a color wheel after completing the third evolution.
Players can also share their custom dye schemes with others via QR codes or the Wardrobe page. This feature supports all 5-Star and 4-Star outfits from past banners, as well as new outfits introduced in Version 1.5.
To celebrate the launch of the DIY Workshop, *Infinity Nikki* will host a special event called “Rainbow and Pattern” that runs until June 4. The event will offer rewards for completing dyeing tasks and experimenting with new designs. Version 1.5 officially launched on April 29.
