Pokemon GO Reveals May 2025 Community Day Featuring Pawmi
Pokemon GO has announced that Pawmi, the Paldean Electric-type Pokemon, will be the star of May 2025’s Community Day. This will be the first time Pawmi is featured in this monthly event, which will take place on Sunday, May 11, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time.
During the event, players will have the chance to encounter shiny Pawmi, as well as take advantage of several bonuses. Notably, players can evolve Pawmo into Pawmot by walking just 1 km as their buddy, instead of the usual 25 km. Pawmot evolved during the event or within the following week will also learn the Charged Attack Brick Break.
Other event bonuses include 1/4 Egg hatch distance, double Candy for catching Pokemon, a higher chance of receiving Candy XL for players level 31 and up, and extended durations for Lure Modules and Incense (both lasting three hours). Players can also enjoy one additional Special Trade and a 50% reduction in Stardust cost for trades from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM local time.
In addition, there will be a week-long Timed Research from May 11 to May 18, offering a special Pawmi with a unique background. A $2 Ultra Community Day Box will also be available, featuring event-specific bundles.
This month will be packed with events, including a Baby Pokemon-themed event prior to Pawmi’s Community Day and a Community Day Classic on May 24, with details still to come. Don’t miss out on these limited-time opportunities to catch and evolve Pawmi!
