World of Warcraft 11.1.7 “Legacy of Arathor” Update Brings New Quests, Features, and Events
Blizzard has revealed the first details of World of Warcraft’s upcoming Patch 11.1.7, titled *Legacy of Arathor*. The update will take players back to the Arathi Highlands to explore growing tensions between the Alliance and the Horde, told through unique faction-specific storylines.
One major feature in the update is the new *Combat Assistant*, inspired by the popular Hekili add-on. This tool highlights recommended abilities during combat and offers a Single-Button Assist mode that simplifies rotations, though it slightly increases the global cooldown.
*Legacy of Arathor* will also introduce new quests, tabard rewards, and a Delve-exclusive affix called *Overcharged*, which adds tougher challenges with additional loot. Additionally, the patch will bring back the *Turbulent Timeways* and *Greedy Emissary* events, as well as add *Battle for Azeroth* dungeons like Freehold, Atal’Dazar, and Waycrest Manor to the Timewalking rotation.
The update will soon be available for testing on the Public Test Realm (PTR), with an official release expected later this spring.
