Gex Trilogy Launches June 16 with Multiple Physical Editions Revealed

Limited Run Games has officially confirmed a June 16 release date for the long-awaited *Gex Trilogy*, bringing the cult-classic 90s platformer back for a new generation. Alongside the digital release, several physical editions will be available for fans and collectors.

**Gex Returns After 25 Years**

The *Gex Trilogy* includes the original *Gex*, *Gex: Enter the Gecko*, and *Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko*. Originally developed by Crystal Dynamics, the games are known for their 90s pop culture humor and quirky lead character. The remastered trilogy maintains the classic gameplay while introducing technical improvements such as native widescreen support and improved analog controls.

**Physical Editions and Pre-Order Details**

Pre-orders open on May 9 via Limited Run Games. Players can choose from three physical editions:

* **Standard Edition** (\$39.99):
Includes all three games, game case, booklet, and a Steam key (PC only).

* **Classic Edition** (\$74.99):
Adds a Steelbook®, double-sided poster, soundtrack selection CD, and a retro-style box.

* **Tail Time Edition** (\$199.99):
Includes everything in the Classic Edition (except the soundtrack selection CD), plus a collector’s box designed by Yoshitaka Amano, a 36” inflatable Gex doll, 7” Gex statue, trading cards, a remote pin, and the full soundtrack CD.

**A Nostalgic Comeback**

With Gex’s signature humor and a wave of 90s nostalgia sweeping the industry, Limited Run’s re-release taps into a renewed interest in retro mascots. The trilogy will launch digitally on Steam and major consoles, giving new players a chance to discover the lizard with attitude.
