Twitch Tests New “Treasure Train” Feature with Discounted Sub Bundles
Twitch has announced a new experimental feature called **Treasure Train**, offering users a **35% discount** on **gifted Tier 1 sub bundles of five or more**—but only after a **Hype Train reaches Level 5**.
This feature, revealed on **May 8**, replaces the standard Hype Train at random intervals, potentially once per hour. Once activated and Level 5 is achieved, viewers will have a limited window to take advantage of the discount. **Treasure Train discounts** cannot be combined with other offers, and **only apply to bundles**, not individual subs.
Streamers can opt out of the feature via the **Creator Dashboard**, and Twitch encourages user feedback during the rollout. A bundle of five Tier 1 subs normally priced at \$29.95 would drop to about **\$19.46** with the Treasure Train discount.
In addition to the new feature, Twitch is also set to **delete older Highlights and Uploads** from channels exceeding a **100-hour content limit** starting **May 19**. Streamers can download and re-upload content elsewhere, with Twitch boosting download speeds and bulk options to assist.
With the launch of Treasure Train and ongoing **Diablo 4 Twitch Drops**, users now have more ways to support their favorite creators.
