Death Stranding 2 Announces Global Launch Tour Ahead of June Release
Kojima Productions has revealed a 12-city world tour to celebrate the upcoming release of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, launching exclusively for PlayStation 5 on June 26.
The “World Strand Tour 2” will kick off in Los Angeles on June 8 during Summer Game Fest, followed by stops in cities like Tokyo, London, Paris, Seoul, and more. While most tour events will take place after the game’s release, Kojima Productions promises special guests and exclusive activities at each location, with more details coming soon.

Death Stranding 2 recently went gold, locking in its June 26 release date. The sequel introduces new gameplay mechanics, improved visuals, and a unique feature that lets players skip boss fights without losing story context—an option aimed at making the game more accessible.
Pre-orders are now live, with a Standard Edition priced at $70 and a Collector’s Edition available for $230. The Collector’s bundle includes exclusive physical and digital items, early access, and collectibles like a 15” statue and a letter from Hideo Kojima himself.
