Ninja and SypherPK frustrated with “unskilled”Ruthless Meta

Ninja and SypherPK went off on the Fortnite serious meta alongside Epic’s system behind keeping a few things out of serious modes.

Ninja and SypherPK aren’t the initial two names you consider when you think serious Fortnite, yet the two players have an abundance of involvement with the territory.

“There’s nothing competitive about what those guys just did … You could give a 3-year-old that weapon … and just tell them to shoot at that one little dot right there. And the best players in the game … are gonna just get annihilated.”

Sypher made the point that Epic seem to be keeping balanced items out of competitive Fortnite because they’re new, while weapons like the Minigun and Heavy Sniper remain in these modes.

“What’s mind-boggling to me is that Epic is choosing not to put, for example, Crash Pads or Helicopters in competitive; and they’re like, ‘Oh, look, we’re making this stance right here,’” Sypher explained. “Where Heavy Snipers and Miniguns are worse for competitive than Helicopters.”

“Helicopters don’t even do anything,” Ninja agreed. “It’s just mobility and there are only, like, five.”

Sypher then went on to get eliminated by another player who was using an RPG, a Minigun, and a Heavy Sniper – all items which Ninja thinks should take up two slots.
