Rumor: Resident Evil 4 VR In Production

It’s a fairly exciting time for a Resident Evil Enthusiast. Though the Resident Evil 3 Remake from before this season is still relatively new in gamers’ heads, the future promises that a brand new game in Resident Evil Village is to get next-gen systems. But a new leak indicates a fan-favorite may be arriving into virtual reality for the very first time.

Resident Evil 4 helped propel the long-running show to even more popularity, switching into an over-the-shoulder and more action-oriented play style compared to more conventional survival horror movies that came before it. While lovers are waiting for information regarding a possible Resident Evil 4 Remake after, in RE two and RE 3’s footsteps, there are no signs of a virtual reality version.

Lately, Capcom has undergone a significant flow, with hackers obtaining data from the match company’s internal and email servers. A number of that advice was then released on the world wide web and was pored over by data miners and Capcom lovers. 1 piece of advice that surfaced now demonstrated that Resident Evil 4 VR is supposedly in evolution, solely for Oculus headsets.

Unfortunately, there is very little info to go on past that. A published graph shows Resident Evil Village, and the alleged Resident Evil 4 VR matches both launches during 2021, together with Resident Evil 4 VR allegedly slated for April. But because Capcom has not confirmed this leaked info, there is no way to know if Resident Evil 4 VR is really slated for launch (or even exists) or not before the programmer comments.

Perhaps the best thing committing doubt to this is the thought that a VR take of Resident Evil 4 would launch in ancient 2021. Resident Evil Village still does not have a solid launch date, with only an overall window of 2021. When it could theoretically be possible to get a port of the present Resident Evil 4 to arrive at the Oculus in a timely fashion, it appears a lot more plausible if a Resident Evil 4 Remake is currently in creation; it might be the model coming to VR. And because this game has not been announced yet, it might leave some doubting those claims.

Obviously, it is well worth pointing out that it would not be the first time that Capcom has published over one big Resident Evil name in precisely the same calendar year. A remake or interface, in addition to a main-series launch, remains plausible. Whatever the case, if it turns out to be legitimate, it is an intriguing turn of events which Capcom has chosen to work only with Oculus, instead of the PSVR, which Resident Evil 7 released for. On the other hand, the allure of this Oculus Quest 2’s wireless and wired capacities might have been sufficient to seal the bargain.
