Psychonauts 2: All Nuggets of Wisdom and Memory Vaults in Lucrecia’s Lament
In the second half of psychonauts 2Campaign, players will be given the task of Lucrecia Mux getting the Astralathe read Raz called on ex-Psychic Six members Bob Zanotto, Cassie O’Pia and Cassie O’Pia for help in removing the device from angry bees and vines. After completing the task, they will be ready to go on a mission to the brain of an ageing supervillain and reach Lucrecia’s Lament level.
They’ll find lots of important new story revelations here as well as plenty of collectables, including three Nuggets of Wisdom and two Memory Vaults. There are no Half-A-Minds to grab this time around, so players hoping to net another health upgrade for Raz should search through missions like PSI King’s Sensorium and Bob’s Bottles instead of returning here.
As always, Lucrecia Mux has both collectable types well hidden, with players having to head off the beaten path to track them down. For those who are struggling to locate the most valuable trinkets at the level, the following information will help you:
Nuggets for Wisdom
As mentioned before, players will be tracking down three Nuggets of Wisdom during their adventure through Lucrecia Mux’s mind. They are fashioned like sewing thread and emit a faint sound when they are near players, fitting the character’s preferred hobby.
Raz must perform circus tricks with the Aquato family fleas when the first Nuggets of Wisdom appears in the level’s beginning area. Players are encouraged to gather around the carousel, and then jump to the wooden platform on its right.
They can then jump over to the pair of ropes between two poles. To find the first Nugget, climb up both ropes and go to the platform to your left.
The second Nuggets of Wisdom is located in the next section. It’s hard to miss. Follow Lucrecia up the ladder to the top and dive into the teacup to transport Raz to a quilted world.
Follow the route ahead, and then cross the quilted waterway using the roll-out bridge. To the left, you will find the second Nugget of Wisdom.
You will find the third Nuggets of Wisdom a bit later in this mission. Raz will find Lucrecia and Ford at the end of each level’s quilted area before moving on to the next section via a portal. Players will find themselves on a long forest road dotted with Doubts after they have entered the second portal.
Continue on the path and burn your enemies with Pyrokinesis. Keep an eye out for buttons along the way. Continue walking past the button to the left, and then stop at the button to the right.
Use the Levitation ability to lift the button and enter the hole below it. The Nugget of Wisdom will then be placed in the middle of the clearing.
Memory Vault
There are two Memory Vaults scattered throughout Lucrecia’s Lament. The pair shed more light on Lucrecia’s past and her relationships with Psychonauts 2. To access the story reel inside, players will need to smash them open.
The first memory VaultThe area’s opening section contains the following: Head to the tennis ball ramp after spawning from the viewing platform overlooking the flea circus. Take a left.
Look left from the spot where flea Frazier is arguing with her dad. There will be the Memory Vault.
