Loop Hero is headed to Nintendo Switch
This winter, the Nintendo Switch will be home to Loop Hero, a developer by Four Quarters, the studio revealed during Nintendo’s Indie World showcase. The original release of the game on Windows PC and Mac was March 4. Four Quarters didn’t announce a release date for loop Hero on Nintendo Switch.
Devolver Digital published Loop Hero. It features an endless time loop. This card-based role-playing game takes a new spin on RPG mechanics. The player uses a deck to create looping dungeons and place enemies. Completing loops opens up new possibilities for cards, classes and bosses. The player is not the hero here, but they are still vital to their success.
This is a completely different way of playing games. When it was released in March, polygon awarded it a Polygon Recommends badge, praising it as a game that respects players’ “time and attention.”
