ELDEN RING COOP MODE – WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW?
Elden Ring’s universe is filled with deadly enemies and intimidating bosses that players must face if they want to see the Tarnished through to the end. A coop mode, unlike FromSoftware’s previous title, will allow you to join other Tarnished while exploring the Lands Between.
Elden Ring’s cooperative mode was confirmed in 2021. It was showcased in November’s gameplay preview. This gives us an idea of what to expect. However, we won’t be able to find out more about its limitations or hidden features until it launches.
Elden Ring’s cooperative mode allows you to summon other players from your world and take on both world content as well as dungeons with them. Although the gameplay preview doesn’t indicate if summoning in Dark Souls is possible, it seems that the player’s ally appears in front of them.
Your players will appear less ghostly when they join your game. They can use emotes to communicate and also have their own equipment and capabilities. In the footage, a group of two people were seen traversing an autumnal forest. The two characters used stealth to defeat lesser enemies and finally encountered the boss.
While you can take on bosses together using the different abilities each character has, there is a chance you won’t have the ability to summon your horse if it’s co-op.
At the moment, it’s not clear how Elden Ring’s cooperative mode handles progress. It is also unclear if members who join immediately leave after killing bosses and completing dungeons.
