This mod for Skyrim is the most wild you’ll ever see. Cangar, a PhD neuroscience student, has created a YouTube video that shows how they have added tech to Skyrim. This technology directly uses your brainpower for magic. It’s like Harry Potter and Doctor Strange.
Eurogamer found the video on YouTube and it’s fascinating to watch. Cangar works as a day-job on projects that focus on electrical signals in their brains. They enjoy SkyrimVR very much and decided to combine both passions. It is a functional mod which checks your concentration and turns it into magical power.
This YouTube video explains how to use a Muse headband (from the website), as well as a dongle. The rest can be done with the VR headset. The Muse headband can be used to measure concentration. This tech can be used to translate signals into magicka, which is amazing.
This means that your magic can do double damage if you concentrate hard. Your power will also be reduced if you don’t concentrate enough. You can see this on the magicka meter. Alternately, your right-hand glows brighter if you concentrate harder.
However, the mod isn’t finished. Cangar stated that they are interested in improving and refining the tech and its mechanics in Skyrim. This mod is unique in its type.
