In the last decade, we’ve seen Souls-like games in all flavors. Although Dark Souls was FromSoftware’s first attempt at this genre, Nioh and Lords of the Fallen were soon followed by many others. Coatsink has published The Last Hero of Nostalgia.
Over The Moon developed the game. It was revealed during a recent ID@Xbox Twitch Showcase. We’ll be playing “the most hideous, pixelated hero” that has ever been spawned in this world. We’ll be fighting our way through an army full of ignorant inhabitants. There will also be a cynical narration to deal with.

Nostalgia is the videogame world, and it’s crumbling into mysterious pixels. Everything is disappearing to nothing, even our fond memories of cherished videogames. With our fidelity almost gone and on the verge of extinction, there is still hope.
Although we don’t have a firm release date, The Last Hero of Nostalgia is expected to launch in 2022. S, Xbox One and Steam, we’ll keep you informed as we learn more.
