NBA 2K22 Patch Notes 2022: Players’ Level 40+ stars removed
As of January 10, the first NBA 2K22 patch for 2022 has been released. Take-Two has not released the official patch notes. We will update you when they are available. However, there have been some reports that the new patch has made it, so that player stars are no longer available. We’re hoping to hear more about this in the coming hours.

Once players reach Level 40, stars are awarded to them. Players can receive a maximum of four stars as they progress beyond the Level cap. Some players have complained that the NBA 2K22 patch removed their stars. This appears to be an error, and we will likely see a patch before Season 4.

There are not yet any official patch notes. This update has been reported to have been rolled out for current-gen consoles. Some speculation has suggested that NBA 2K22 Season 4 may be released on January 14, 2022. This update could be implementing changes in preparation for the new Season.
This could be a hint about the upcoming release of NBA 2K22 Season 4. It may be worth playing some time to ensure you have done all you want. Also, make sure to reach Level 40 in Season 3. We don’t know if Stars are still earning stars correctly from the patch.

NBA 2K22 patch January 10, 2018 – Update size
According to reports, the Xbox One update is 38.57GB, and the PlayStation One update is 23.152GB. Both are large downloads for a mid-season update. It is not surprising that some changes will be in the patch notes and preparations for Season 4.
