The Anacrusis launches today on Game Preview & Game Pass.
S via Game Preview and Xbox Game Pass, meaning you can join your friends in shooting the hell out of hordes of aliens. The starship won’t be able to defend itself. You can see some gameplay at the top.
What is The Anacrusis?
The Anacrusis, a four-player horde shooting game, is similar to Left 4 Dead and, more recently, Back 4 Blood. You can control one of four characters: Nessa (Guion), Lance (Liu), the last remaining bastion of humanity against legions of aliens.
The AI Driver is a game that allows players to explore massive starships while battling aliens. It aims to create bosses, items, and bosses in a way that challenges and thrills players of all levels. It remains to be determined if that is the case or if it will just create a few laughs now and then.
You’ll find perks, weapons, and other upgrades as you progress through the game. You can either spread your build to excel across multiple areas or make your gun an alien god-killing mega weapon. You have the option to choose.
