“Call of Duty: Warzone” Sequel promises major shakeup to align with future series
Activision announced that the future of its popular first-person shooter series Call Of Duty Warzone will be transformed into something completely new to tie in with the next core Call Of Duty title.
Warzone PacificSeason Two arrives at Valentine’s Day, which I’m certain will not cause any arguments between couples. Not at all. The Nebula V gas, a new toxin, can cause permanent damage to any person who is caught in its cloud. This can be done by players using the Nebula V ammunition and the rare Nebula V Bomb.
The bomb looks almost like a suitcase when it is placed on the ground. It will release Nebula V gas over several minutes. This is a great item to have to stop players from closing in on you and gives you time to strategize. The Portable Decontamination Station gives players immunity to the gas. This will prove valuable in navigating the Chemical Factory near the Mines or the Docks.
The announcements about Season Two’s content include the news that there will be a new Warzone experience. This will be created in sync with Call Of Duty 2022, which is confirmed as a continuation of the Modern Warfarereboot that was released in 2019.
These new titles will be powered by a new engine, as well as the “massive evolutionary of Battle Royale with new playspace and a sandbox mode.” Infinity Ward will take over the Call Of Duty titles, including the Warzone.
Activision is revealing this information in a somewhat cryptic manner, but we can speculate about Warzone 2. Verdansk was changed to celebrate the launch of C all Of Duty Black Ops Cold Warand Pacific.
This tie in with the historical setting of Call Of Duty Vanguard. We might therefore expect a Warzone which takes us into the jungles of Colombia in order to defeat the cartels. Rumours suggest that the campaign for the next game is heavily inspired from Netflix’s Narcos. Keep an eye out for this.
