Shadow Warrior 3 is Now Available as a Day One Title
Shadow Warrior 3’s upcoming release will launch on PlayStation Now on March 1st as a day-one title. It will also be available on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
This news is from a PlayStation blog post by Flying Wild Hog. Lead producer Bartek Sawicki confirmed it in the first paragraph. It would be expected that an announcement like this would receive more attention in the blog post. But that’s another story. This is still an excellent deal for PlayStation Now subscribers, as Shadow Warrior 3 looks to be an awesome FPS indeed.
The blog post explains the gameplay in greater detail and shows off a new level called The Dragon’s Nest. The blog also discusses the game’s Gore Weapons mechanic. This incentivizes the player to use finishers to kill enemies and turn them into instruments of death for a short time. Flying Wild Hog also shows footage of the grappling hook. Although it isn’t the most original mechanic, Flying Wild Hog adds layer of movement options to an already fun formula.
