Fans are convinced that Resident Evil Outbreak could be coming soon after the Resident Evil website was updated recently.

The new website includes a lot of new images, screenshots, and descriptions for Resident Evil code: Veronica and Outbreak. Also, Outbreak file 2 is now available on the history page.

Fans have been captivated by images showing upgraded characters in Resident Evil Outbreak.

The original discovery was made by Alex Aniel via Twitter. However, in order to view the new models, fans will need to log in using their Capcom ID.

Resident Evil fan account Project Umbrella tweeted the necessary images for you to save the hassle (which can be seen below).

It is important to note that Resident Evil: Outbreak’s alligators and hyenas have received a major overhaul. This is not a minor tweak. It’s a significant improvement on the original renderings.

This has naturally led to many fans believing that Outbreak could be remastered or remade.

We can see a remastering of Outbreak after the success of Resident Evil 2 & Resident Evil 3 Remakes. Although we doubt it will sell as many gangbusters as RE:2, it is likely to sell well enough for Capcom to spend the effort.

It is not the only Resident Evil remake being considered. According to Fanbyte and VGC, the Resident Evil 4 remake will be announced in the latter part of this year.
