Elden Ring: How To Defeat Grave Warden Duelist
Grave Warden Duelist, an optional boss in Elden Ring, can be found in Western Limgrave’s Murkwater Catacombs along the river.
Here are the places to find Grave Warden Duelist.
Although Grave Warden Duelist can be very destructive if you are early in your Elden Ring journey, he is also very predictable and avoidable.
His wide AOE, which will continue swinging more than expected, can cause immense damage. It’s all about timing your dodges as he jumps into the air or winds up his hammer. If you are a melee fighter, keep moving and attack him.
Grave Warden Duelist may be a little slow for ranged and magic users. However, he can be backstepped out to the range with no difficulty and vulnerable to magic. He can be easily lit up from far away with a Flintstone staff or generally ranged attacks, and he will roll backward if he gets too close.
As with many bosses in Elden Ring, you can easily take the anger out of yourself by summoning ashes such as the Lone Wolf Ashes or any other ashes that come along with multiple friends. You can easily backstab him if he is distracted by your ashes.
For defeating Grave Warden Duelist, players will earn 1700 and Battle Hammer runes.
Elden Ring is now available for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X & S, and Xbox One.
