According to the victim, Starr was also “very drunk” at Starr’s attack. Starr threatened Starr in English, saying: “You don’t know who you’ve messed up with, you don’t know who and what I’ve done.” I will look for you because you’ve made the worst mistake of your entire life. You are my enemy.
The actor was held in custody for two nights before being released by police. He then appeared in court in Alicante. He was released from jail because he did not commit any other crime in the next two years and that he paid over PS4,000 to the victim within 72-hours.
A court official confirmed that the arrest resulted from a speedy trial. The Alicante Court of Investigation Number 9 sentenced the man to 12 months imprisonment and the payment of a PS4,141 fine for the crime of wounding. The detainee’s drunkenness was considered an extenuating circumstance. A deal was reached between the state prosecution and the man who was later convicted of giving rise to the sentence. His sentence was suspended under the condition that he does not commit any other crime within the next two years and that he pays the compensation within the next 72 hours.
