Sure Sounds Like Rahul Kohli Voices Fortnite’s Origin
Fortnite – Chapter 3 – Season 2 has finally arrived after Season 1. It was a fun, but quite heavy season that gave us a better look at The Seven. Season 2 sees The Origin team up with The Foundation and The Visitor to save the gang. It sounds like Rahul Kohli is also in the cast.
You can listen to the audio clip for The Origin in Week 1, and decide if it’s Kohli.
Anybody who has seen The Haunting of Bly Manor or Midnight Mass (which you really should), or iZombie, will be familiar with Kohli’s dulcet tones. While it raises questions about why he is British and The Foundation so much American, there is still a lot of lore. The answer will be revealed in seven comic books and twenty voicelogs. However, we do believe he is related to The Cube Queen. Season 2’s Loading Screen shows him with similar powers and transforms into his current form.
As well as Troy Baker as Jonesy, Kohli will be joining The Rock (The Foundation), and Joel McHale (“The Visitor”) as prominent actors who have voiced The Seven. This is a remarkable turnaround for a game with very little voice acting over the years. However, this was explained by the island’s adverse effects on its inhabitants.
Kohli is not new to voice acting in videogames. He has previously contributed his talents to Rage 2 (now Gears 5). He is also an avid gamer, and finds himself just as enthralled than the rest of us with Elden Ring.
It felt like it was 400 years ago when he appeared at Fortnite’s Celebrity Pro-Am tournament in 2018.
Joel McHale also took part in a Celebrity Pro-Am. If there was a pattern, I would pay good money for Xavier Woods to voice Fortnite’s themes.
