Fortnite Season 2 Map Does Not Feature Many New POIs
Fortnite: Chapter 3. Season 2 kicks off with an all out showdown between IO, the forces of the Island and it is fair to say it hasn’t made any significant changes to Season 2.
It doesn’t seem like there are any new POIs, or named locations at a glance. However, most of them remain the same since Chapter 3. This makes sense considering that the map is brand new and filled with new locations. There is however some evidence of the war’s impact on the map.
Here’s Fortnite’s map: Chapter 3 – Season 2
Although they may not look drastically different from one another, if you pay attention, you’ll see some effects of war.
This blimp is hovering above Rocky Reels. It might be possible to drive it as the season progresses. They seem to be everywhere for this season.
These blimps share a design with Marvel’s helicarriers.
The map appears to show signs of war with “scars of conflict” like these.
This is about it. But don’t be disappointed if the map looks the same as before Season 2. Each Fortnite season has seen some sort of map change, regardless of how many weeks they were playing for. Season 2 is all about war and there’s little chance that it will stay the same.
