These Gaming Tattoos Take Fandom to The Next Level
We have featured a few gaming-based tattoos here before, but none are as amazing as these mashups and montages by this talented artist.
One tattoo parlour sells Pokemon tattoos at a fraction of the cost. However, customers have to choose a unique Pokémon from a gumball machine to get their new tattoo. Another example is the full-leg sleeve with various poses from God Of War. It reached all the way to the crotch. The silly side of tattoos has also been covered, like the FaZe streamer who had the Raven Software logo tattooed to his bum after the studio removed a Call Of Duty option he didn’t like.
We recently discovered Derek Turcotte, a new favourite artist despite all the great tattoo artists. Turcotte started drawing as a child and began tattooing at 18. Turcotte will combine their favourite gaming characters into beautiful body art.
His work is often shared on social media in larger pieces that combine favourite characters from one franchise or a mix of best friends from several series. Each piece is meticulously detailed and blends to create a cohesive image despite being large.
Turcotte takes great pride in his work, and you can see it in the finished products. Although each leg takes Turcotte several sessions and can take hours to complete, the results seem very worthwhile for clients.
