Black Ops Cold War April 25th Patch Notes
While Vanguard has become Activision’s main focus in 2022, Treyarch will continue to support Black Ops Cold War to the delight and delight of those still playing the game.
Recent updates include the Vargo 52 assault rifle and a reworked WMD multiplayer map taken from the very first Black Ops game.
The developer shared information on several changes to Outbreak Zombies mode and a new location that offers permanent upgrades for players who have completed multiple Easter Eggs in the Dark Aether.

Easter Eggs
Easter Eggs are an integral part of the Zombies experience. Vanguard’s undead experience is lacking in main quests. However, there are many Black Ops Cold War missions to be completed. This is what the April 25 update will change:
- A new secret location has been added that offers over a dozen rewards as well as a permanent upgrade to all Zombies maps depending on how many Main Quests have you completed.
Outbreak Collapse
- Before attempting to flee from one Region, players must survive 10 minutes of increasingly intense waves.
- Choose from two randomly selected Regions to invade and fight for survival as the difficulty increases every two minutes.
- Keep waiting until the time limit is reached and race to the exfil point in the farthest place from your squad. A surge of zombies will soon be closing in on your position.
- Exfiltrate the area before it is too late.
Enemies
- Outbreak now has an Abomination enemy.
- HVT Abomination to Eliminate Objective.
Perks
- Tombstone – Fixed an issue in which players with Tombstone Tier IV weren’t being respawned at the end of a round.
Mystery Box
- The Mystery Box now allows you to obtain weapons from Season Six.
Fans of Cold War Zombies are very pleased with the changes. A number of cosmetic products have also appeared, suggesting that something is happening in the Dark Aether.
