Massive Fan-Made Elden Ring Expansion Now in Development
Elden Ring is the strongest game of the year contender. Sorry, Pokemon Legends: Arceus & Horizon Forbidden West. But those countless 10/10 ratings don’t lie.
FromSoftware’s newest is huge, as we all know. The Lands Between is vast and full of secrets and bosses to defeat – HowLongToBeat estimates that it will take an average player around 130 hours to explore all the content. Fans have been asking for DLC expansions despite this, and while nothing has been officially announced, the next best thing is.
The Convergence Mod, Dark Souls III’s excellent Convergence Mod, was revealed by Twitter. They are currently working on an identical overhaul for Elden Ring. “The development has begun.”
The Convergence MOD for Dark Souls III provided a host of amazing additions such as new spells, improved starting classes, weapons, armor, bosses, and hostile NPCs named after speedrunners like Distortion. Fans are excited about the Convergence if similar items are introduced into Elden Ring.
The Convergence is currently not available. It may be sometime before the release window, even though development has just begun. You can only access the mod for PC players. Console users will need to wait for official DLC releases. FromSoftware has released DLC for Soulsborne titles in the past within one year. We don’t want to wait too long to see what they have.
