PS5 Pro Controller with “Awesome Features”
According to a report, PlayStation is developing a new PlayStation 5 Pro controller that will offer various cool new features.
Tom Henderson, a prolific leaker, reports that PlayStation will unveil the “genuine profession controller” within the next few weeks. The enhanced controller looks similar to the Xbox Elite Controller because it has removable analog sticks and rear paddle triggers.
Rumors are circulating that Sony will host another event at the end of June. This will be where we can hopefully get an update about the release date for Ragnarok. The PS5 Pro controller will likely be displayed at this event.
Henderson claims the codename for Pro controller “Hunt” is the one. Although the leaker could not share photos of the new controller due to privacy concerns, he claimed to have seen it and said it looked a lot like the DualSense, just with all the bells and whistles.
Rumors also suggest that PlayStation will release a new PS5 Pro console. However, this upgraded hardware is believed to be much closer than the new controller.
According to RedGamingTech, PlayStation is developing an upgraded model with more powerful specs than the standard PS5. It will likely boast improved performance, better resolutions and ray-tracing.
RedGamingTech’s claims are consistent with the Moore’s Law Is Dead Law Is Dead report, which claimed last year that the PS5 Pro would most likely be released in 2024 at around PS600-PS700.
Although it might seem a bit optimistic to expect a new line of consoles in the coming years with so many people struggling to get a regular PS5 console, Sony is known for releasing new models only a few years into the life of a console. We wouldn’t be surprised if the PS5 Pro arrives eventually.
