Technoblade, a Minecraft YouTuber, has sadly passed away
Today’s sad news is that the Minecraft Youtuber Technoblade, battling stage four cancer, has passed away.
Technoblade (real name Alex) revealed his diagnosis to 10 million subscribers last January. He had been absent from uploading most of the time while undergoing chemotherapy. He was only 23 years old.
One final video was uploaded to Technoblade’s channel on June 30th. It was titled “solong nerds,” and Technoblade’s father revealed to Technoblade that Technoblade had tragically died eight hours after he wrote his last words to his followers. The video is available below.
Technoblade, in his father’s words, stated that he would choose to be Technoblade again if he could live a hundred lives. Those were my happiest years. I hope that you enjoyed my content. I hope I made you laugh. I love you guys and wish you a long and prosperous life. Technoblade out
Technoblade’s mom left a message at the end that stated, “this year had many rough spots for our boy as he fought stage four cancer.” He didn’t complain and continued to use his strategic mind to fight against what he believed were impossible odds… My son was an inspiration to all of us who had the privilege to walk this path with him.
Technoblade is best known for his involvement in the Dream SMP Minecraft server, where many famous YouTubers would meet up and create content. His natural warmth and charm earned him a large following.
He had raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for cancer charities and was frequently referred to as one of the business’s most humble and down-to-earth content creators. He noted that his siblings are now going to college because of the support from supporters…..
