The Stray Backpack and Travel Harness Show Gamer Merch Can Be Cool
Annapurna Interactive, the publisher, announced Thursday a limited edition Strey collaboration with Travel Cat. This includes a cat backpack and a harness that allows you to take your cat outside like a dog. This merch proves that even though it seems unlikely, it is an excellent idea.
The Stray merchandise recreates the in-game B-12 harness of the titular SStray very well. It is a flexible, jet-black harness with silver trimmings and a tiny stray logo on its left shoulder. The backpack has a small compartment that can store treats, catnip or even a drone assistant. It can be adjusted to fit many cat sizes.
The Fat Cat cat backpack is also available. It is a Stray-themed variation of an existing Travel Cat bag. The Stray backpack has a submarine-style window at the front, several breathing holes, pockets, and pink, yellow, and blue highlights. Although it looks great, I am sure my cat would hate it. It’s easy to imagine the youngster looking out the window and making funny faces at anyone watching.
Preorders for the Straymerch are currently unavailable. However, you can download and play the game before the merch ships. Stray will launch digitally on July 19, 2022. It will be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Steam. The story follows the adventures of a stray cat that falls into a robot-infested neon city. This small cat must help the residents find a way back to his friends. We don’t have much to say about Stray at the moment, but you can see that we loved it.
