SPEED HEAT: NEED TO KNOW
Need for Speed Heat, an action racing game, is set in a fictionalized version of Miami, Florida, and the surrounding areas. In-game maps feature diverse terrains, such as mountainous regions and fields.
The game is not a 24-hour day/night cycle like Need for Speed Payback. However, players are able to switch from daytime to nighttime. Players can participate in sanctioned races during the day.
They will receive cash that they can spend to buy new cars or upgrades. Players can take part in nighttime illegal street races, earning rep. As a player gains more rep, police officers will become more aggressive at night.
The players must get away from the police and return to their safehouse before getting caught or having the car wrecked. In addition, the game features a narrative in which players are able to interact with Lt. Mercer and the police of the city.
