Rockstar Games appears to have decided against developing Red Dead Redemption 2 due to Grand Theft Auto VI development being prioritized, although publisher Take-Two Interactive promises “perfection from their studio”.

Red Dead Redemption fans who can’t bear waiting for Red Dead Redemption 3 or its remake can still pass their time with free online events; starting today there will be one starting for only a limited period!

With Moonshiners DLC as its central theme, this event presents players with numerous rewards and incentives to complete missions, participate in challenges and spend their hard-earned cash on weapons, apparel and real property purchases.

There are various challenges/offers available that will provide exclusive clothing items, discounts on weapons upgrades and player emotes from the Moonshiners update as rewards. Timed exclusives may also be offered; players need only sell off their moonshine at specific intervals over the coming weeks to gain more stylish outfits and accessories!

As with every Rockstar Games event, players will benefit from increased cash and experience gains when taking Moonshiners missions, along with discounts on high-value ill-gotten gains. All Moonshiners missions will receive either 2X or 3X increases in money and experience yield, making these missions worthwhile if you are new or just need an extra bit of spending money for something specific that catches your eye!

There will also be discounts of up to 50% on Moonshiner items and locations, enabling players to change the aesthetic of their Moonshine Shacks with less of an expense on cosmetics. Clothing items and gear will also become significantly less costly.

Red Dead Redemption 2 wasn’t blessed with as much post-launch content as Grand Theft Auto V did, leading many fans to petition Rockstar and create DLC themselves via mods or passion projects. Many remain disgruntled at Rockstar for not providing single player DLC release date updates; others even created custom DLC mods or dedicated projects themselves!

Red Dead Redemption fans likely face a long wait until anything new emerges for this series, so online events like these offer hope of something coming soon.
