Street Fighter 6 World Tour – Ryu Master Guide
Street Fighter’s Ryu has long been recognized by gamers around the globe; from being known for doling out fireballs and uppercuts for decades now to wearing his iconic white gi. Though his designs may have undergone drastic change since Street Fighter 6 debuted, his character remains undiminished: still an unswerving badass with no need to talk back!
As Ryu was most likely your introduction to Street Fighter, becoming his student is probably an easy decision in Street Fighter 6’s World Tour mode. Learn from him what strength means with Ryu as your instructor!
Once you meet E Honda during Chapter 8, he’ll introduce you to an unlikely hero called Ryu who lives at Genbu Temple in Japan. Head back over to your world map and travel there – as there will be an exclusive cutscene introducing Street Fighter’s most beloved character!
After watching the cutscene, you will be asked to take a photo of Ryu. Simply head toward the indicated waypoint, open up your camera app on your phone, select mission mode and take your photograph before returning from taking it and sending it off to the mysterious info broker you’ve been working for in this chapter.
Now that your photo has been sent off, speak with Ryu and request him as your master, though initially he may reject. Sensing your interest in training under Ansatsuken master Ryu will challenge you to a fight at level 25 – not an especially formidable challenger as such but be sure to bring along healing items just in case! Once defeated he’ll agree to become your instructor allowing you to study his moves further.
Street Fighter 6 is now available on PC, PS4 (PS5) and Xbox Series X & S consoles.
