GTA 5 San Andreas Expansion Gets First Trailer
San Andreas, one of the standout titles from Rockstar Games’ arsenal, makes its return in GTA V!
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas first made its debut for PlayStation 2 back in 2004 with its story taking place during 1992, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas tells of CJ returning home of Los Santos after attending his mother’s funeral to return into crime as soon as he can afford. Unfortunately for CJ though, his life soon becomes intoxicated with criminal enterprise once more, drawing him deeper and deeper into criminal activities once again.
At its release, GTA: San Andreas was not only one of the finest looking games ever produced in this franchise but it was also ambitious in every way imaginable and had incredible scope across almost every dimension. Some could compare its playback experience with an RPG where CJ participated in activities such as going to gym, gambling and taking flying lessons among many others.
Fans have long held dear their fondness of GTA V, with most longing to return to San Andreas in some capacity or another, which the latest GTA Online update for GTA V will allow. While we did see elements of San Andreas in its single player campaign mode, none can doubt it didn’t feel quite the same as when we looked forward to returning there in GTA Online.
Rockstar Games released in a press release that GTA Online San Andreas Mercenaries promises players “the biggest, highest-risk heist yet”, which speaks volumes when considering this series’ history of incredible feats of stealthy thefts.
San Andreas Mercenaries allows you to exact revenge against Merryweather Security by joining expert pilot and skilled merc Charlie Reed as he leads his new outfit – Los Santos Angels — into dangerous counter operations that aim to disarm and disrupt Merryweather Security forces ruthlessly – giving yourself and friends an opportunity to earn fortunes along the way!
As part of an “action-packed update”, players will join an elite pilots and ex-military operators team, to battle San Andreas’ largest private military, Merryweather Security. You and your team can enlist Charlie Reed – an expert aircraft mechanic – as part of their arsenal to bring down Merryweather Security once and for all while making lots of cash along the way.
As fans await GTA VI’s release, an industry analyst predicts it could make $1 billion within its first week of release.
