2023 has quickly become the year of fighting games, with Street Fighter 6 becoming one of the highest reviewed and beloved titles ever, while Mortal Kombat 1 promises a revolutionary reboot for its franchise. Not to be outdone, Bandai Namco released additional news regarding their forthcoming fighter, Tekken 8. They announced a closed network beta test which you can sign-up for now – here is all you need to know!
Tekken 8 Closed Network Beta Test Platforms mes The Closed Network Beta Test will be accessible across all of Tekken 8’s scheduled release platforms: PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
Timeframes vary according to which platform is chosen for testing; in practice, beta testing will occur over two weekends with PS5 owners participating first and PC and Xbox Series X& S players joining afterwards.
This initial stage of the beta test will run from July 21st 10am until July 24th 9am CEST, with three hour maintenance starting July 21st at 10pm CEST – but is exclusive for PS5 owners only. After one week has passed on all platforms (July 28th-10am-31st–9am CEST-July 29th-10amCEST), another three hour maintenance window begins and goes for three hours starting on July 29th 10amCEST – PS5 owners only will get priority during this initial period!
While at first sight the results appear promising – more on this in a minute – at first sight the situation looks grimmer still and in any event the consequences for those that remain are high indeed.

In order to sign-up for the Closed Network Beta Test of Tekken 8, visit Bandai Namco website and create an account (if necessary), and choose your platform before selecting “Beta Test Registration.” Signups are limited so make sure to act fast! Signups for each platform start as early as next Monday morning so be quick.

Content of Tekken 8 Closed Network Beta Test As expected, this Closed Network Beta Test for Tekken 8 aims to test how the game runs online; specifically the “new battle system and tactics; aerial combos; new gen graphics; destructive and interactive stages”, plus five stages with sixteen characters including Ryu (including her aerial combos ). Furthermore, five additional characters such as Ryu are featured compared with 16 characters that will appear during its duration; these characters include Ryu himself
