Diablo IV has had an incredible start. I see someone playing it every time I open social media. That speaks volumes!

Don’t just trust my personal Twitter experience: just one day after Diablo IV’s official launch on 6 June (it technically launched earlier if early access subscribers paid, but let’s go with that), it was confirmed as Blizzard’s fastest selling game ever; more remarkable yet when taking into consideration how big an impact Overwatch initially had when released!

As expected with high sales comes high revenues; and it has now been confirmed that Diablo IV exceeded half a billion in less than seven days according to TweakTown, hitting $666 Million within just five days – impressive indeed!

As time passed and more sales occurred, that figure likely increased even further; furthermore, revenue only accounts for full game sales – in-game purchases for cosmetic items weren’t taken into consideration here and could add even more cash overall.

At Diablo IV’s release in early access, players devoted an impressive 276 million hours, taking down 276 billion demons while also dying 316 million times themselves – but as only 163 people have reached max level Hardcore mode so far, you should give yourself a big congratulations if that includes you!
