Starfield has released their initial review 85 days ahead of launch – and boy was it impressive!
Reviews can provide us with invaluable information that helps us determine if a product suits us; but, what if those reviews were created from experience gained while viewing product not actually experienced?
Well, Bethesda’s much anticipated sci-fi RPG Starfield hasn’t disappointed; at the time of publishing this “review”, its release date was 85 days away!
GamesRadar reports that someone has reviewed Starfield despite never playing it themselves. Following its debut at Xbox Game Showcase last weekend, Starfield held its own dedicated direct event which showcased gameplay footage as well as provided insights from developers working on it, such as Bethesda chief Todd Howard himself.
So far as we can tell, only one video game media outlet was given access to Starfield during its event; thus this Metacritic review cannot possibly be genuine; especially since its score of zero makes clear.
Joppsta360 wrote an amusing “review”, noting Bethesda is more focused on extracting as much money out of accounts as possible than making games that work “out-of-the box”.
Starfield Super Special 76 edition offers up a predictable disappointment. Included with it is a shot glass so you can partake in the infamous Internet Historian drinking game: take one every time Todd Howard lies or risk alcohol poisoning before 5 minutes into this 20-minute masterpiece that showcases yet another Bethesda disaster.”

Starfield stands to become one of the greatest video games ever produced, both visually and conceptually. Not only is Bethesda’s largest city ever included in Starfield – over 1000 planets offer players free exploration – yet some fans may feel frustrated that 30 frames-per-second (fps) limits have been implemented into it.
Starfield will be released for PC and Xbox Series X|S on 6 September 2023.
