Genshin Impact studio is currently developing an Animal Crossing-like game, according to sources at Genshin Impact studio.
Animal Crossing will always remain one of my favorites, whether for its addictive boss-bashing action in Elden Ring or discovering its emotionally captivating narrative in Xenoblade Chronicles; occasionally though it can just be nice to do friendly neighborly activities with animals living nearby – catch fish, decorate virtual houses with cute objects – in friendly communities full of friendly animal residents on an island full of animal residents or find new friendships through casual fishing adventures on its islands!
Animal Crossing: New Horizons was released for Nintendo Switch at both an optimal and unfavorable moment – providing both entertainment and consolation during a world that felt increasingly out-of-control, yet simultaneously leading us down an overly indulgent path – both reasons being equally true given how Animal Crossing should not be played all day, every day for months on end as intended – or so many of us thought at any one point or another!
As such, some players quickly found themselves disenthralled with New Horizons. I cannot relate as someone who played daily for more than 12 months straight but there has been and still is widespread complaint among fans that there’s nothing left for them to do in this Switch title – especially now that content updates have come to an end.
HoYoverse Publisher Genshin Impact appears to have something in the works to satisfy Animal Crossing fans if you have been craving an Animal Crossing-esque game to play, according to Dexerto reports. Last month on Twitter came whispers of a “casual simulation-style game”, while earlier this week Twitch streamer SipSipStefen shared what appeared to be an image from it; unfortunately due to copyright disputes this image has since been taken down and described this game as being similar “direct Animal Crossing competitor”.
Though all signs point in one direction, HoYoverse is yet to verify if these reports are indeed true; take what has been written with caution for now.
