Ubisoft are really going all out when it comes to Assassin’s Creed. Now is an amazing time to be an avid follower, because so many games from this series are on their way; 11 to be exact according to reports of leakage.

At present, most attention is being drawn towards Assassin’s Creed Mirage which will be released on 12 October. Last month, its map size was revealed – pleasing news as this stealth game promises to return the series closer to its roots. At Ubisoft Forward in June we also got our first look at Codename Jade (an ancient China free-to-play mobile experience), fan favorite Ezio Auditore is set for return in Assassin’s Creed Nexus while we are here today discussing Nebula (in-development).

Assassin’s Creed Nebula may be another major AC single-player release along the lines of Mirage as opposed to VR Nexus or free-to-play Codename Jade, though its exact release date and likely release window remains unknow. As it currently sits in concept/prototype stage, however Insider Gaming’s Tom Henderson leaked that there will be three unique game settings within Nebula.

Nebula will reportedly take place across India, the Aztec Empire and Mediterranean areas – this has me intrigued! Henderson also detailed Project Raid as a free-to-play PvE co-op title while Project Echoes would serve as another multiplayer title.

Within recent days, news broke of an Assassin’s Creed Black Flag remake being created. Both sources for Kotaku and Insider Gaming confirm this is indeed happening – though confirmation from Ubisoft themselves would likely provide greater assurances of accuracy. Either way, fans should anticipate many exciting possibilities!
