Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 devs fix the game’s least popular multiplayer map
Modern Warfare 2’s maps have long struggled to resonate with players when loading into battle. While Infinity Ward has created some iconic battlefields over time, in its most recent release these maps may have missed their mark and failed to excite.
Since Season 4 Reloaded began, players have quickly come to grips with both its MX Guardian shotgun and new tweaks and modifications that affect its arsenal of weaponry.
As part of its list of bug fixes in this update, developer has shared details that it has altered one of the least-played maps to enhance gameplay and ensure optimal experience for players.
Are we seeing Modern Warfare 2’s worst map solved? Reddit user MichaelIncarnate took to Reddit in order to shed light on a change found within Season 4 Reloaded patch notes which could improve Santa Sena Border Crossing.
Patch notes state: “Cars at Santa Sena Border Crossing will no longer explode, although they can still cause damage, they cannot kill players.
Although some players appreciate this change, many community members believe the map has become worse since. One community member insisted: “Oh come on – that was one of my favourite parts!”

To retain the fun of being blown sky high, one player suggested an alternative change that could retain this experience: bumping up health points of cars so it would take multiple explosions for them to explode; shooting holes through car doors shouldn’t lead to it exploding.”
Others have pointed out a potential downside of fixing this problem; with one player suggesting: “Now people are camping behind cars.”
Uncertain as to Infinity Ward’s plans regarding Border Crossing, its cars appear impenetrable at present.
