Wish your Skyrim character didn’t need to break into temples just so she can gain Dibella’s blessing?
JaySerpa, an experienced modder known for their previous projects like making friendly brawls more engaging, as well as turning Dark Brotherhood quests like killing Grelod the Kind into elaborate assassination missions, recently created this mod: ‘The Heart of Dibella – Quest Expansion.
This time around they have chosen the vanilla quest ‘The Heart of Dibella’ in order to fulfill it on Degaine’s orders – aiding Priestesses of Dibella by helping out some in Markarth and aspen Temple as an act of penance for breaking in so rudely when following Degaine orders to raid temples there in Markarth on behalf of some beggar named Degaine.
As can be seen from the trailer above, with this mod installed the mission has undergone a transformation that includes receiving an honourable letter from Priestesses’ leader once you become Thane of Reach.
Once underway, you’ll quickly notice that this quest now offers numerous scenes, dialogue options and roleplay opportunities – each created using cleverly written vanilla dialogue designed not to break immersion.
Revamps also include adding an alternative way for Priestesses to complete tasks without engaging a band of Forsworn, which requires siding with them in order to escape Cidhna Mine; along with several immersive changes and Easter eggs.
This mod allows players to customise the blessing they will receive as an award upon completing a quest, with its default version increasing damage done against enemies of opposite gender in combat, making this more suitable to your Dragonborn’s romantic preferences.
