Soon, Assassin’s Creed will return to mobile devices and this latest installment promises to be its largest and possibly greatest release yet.
Level Infinite’s Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade takes us back to 215 BCE during Qin Dynasty China history. Based on what has been seen so far from its trailer, this appears to be as close to an authentic mobile experience of an Assassin’s Creed game as we may ever get. Based on what has been seen so far it looks promising; hopefully when released it plays as well and does not become overly pushy on microtransactions; although mobile games often do that anyway!

Level Infinite and Ubisoft have come together to deliver an immersive Assassin’s Creed adventure for free, anytime and anywhere: Level Infinite is working closely together with Ubisoft on developing an authentic mobile-optimised experience of Assassin’s Creed game experience based around climbing cities, parkouring across rooftops and assassinating targets in multiple ways, engaging in thrilling combat action as you traverse over multiple environments.” The press release further states:

Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade will feature an unprecedented character creation suite for enhanced customisation – providing fans with their first chance at experiencing full Assassin’s Creed gameplay on mobile. We look forward to providing them with this experience sooner rather than expected!
Ubisoft recently made it known that Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade wouldn’t release on PC or console until later, however they announced a closed beta for both Android and iOS starting August 3, 2023.
Register and subscribe at the game’s official website: to register you must input your email address through their portal and wait to be assigned an access code by email; once received you will have less than a minute to input that code onto registration page if timed correctly; should that window pass, simply reenter your details for another access code!
On 12 October 2023, PC, PlayStation and Xbox owners can look forward to the arrival of Assassin’s Creed Mirage as its next entry in this long-running franchise.
