GTA 6 news was revealed by fans via LinkedIn of all places!
Today is another fantastic day for Grand Theft Auto VI leaks and rumors; today comes from an unlikely source!
Rockstar Games announced they were working on GTA VI back in February 2023; since then however, official details surrounding its development remain scarce and have almost completely dissipated since.
As far as GTA VI goes, all we know of it are leaks of gameplay footage as well as speculation. Such leaks hint that two playable characters could return and that Vice City, one of its original locations from previous installments in this franchise could make another appearance.
Reddit users were recently privy to an eye-opening post from Sayan Saha’s LinkedIn page showing when and where he worked on Grand Theft Auto VI. Since this screenshot was captured however, Roman numeral for GTA VI has since been taken off his profile but not without taking an additional snapshot.
Saha claimed on his profile that he worked on: “the forthcoming GTA title: Trilogy Remaster & V Next-gen Update. Additionally he completed 500+ in-game 2D assets for this upcoming title – comprised of 25 unique brands to this title with associated merchandise sales as well as interior prop labels found within interior spaces commonly represented within GTA V.”
Grand Theft Auto VI should arrive between 2024-2025 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Although nothing has yet been confirmed officially by Rockstar Games, many expect Grand Theft Auto VI’s official debut sometime between this period.
Although LinkedIn information appears credible, we should still treat any speculation with caution until proven otherwise. That being said, Rockstar Games needs to give us GTA VI gameplay trailer and release date – then all will become friends forever (probably).
