Skyrim mod fixes bug where guards randomly attack players
Since its release, modders have worked hard to ensure that Skyrim continues to evolve and expand.
Some have tried to change the gameplay by adding new weapons, crafting stations and combat mechanics. Others even went as far as allowing your Dragonborn to visit an exciting new place or to earn Dibella’s blessing, without breaking into temples.
You can add a mod to your load-order if you want to chill out and play in Tamriel while waiting for Skyblivion or Starfield.
Are you tired of getting randomly attacked by Skyrim guards when you don’t have any bounties?
They’ve chosen to fix a bug which causes certain NPCs, after an offense has been committed, to be hostile to the Dragonborn for longer than is necessary.
These scenarios are designed to have guards or regular citizens change their dispositions by paying your bounty, killing all witnesses of your crime and paying your bounty. As you’ll see below in the video, neither action has the desired result when the bug appears.
It’s important to note that this bug only affects the vanilla game and Solstheim Raven Rock. You may still run into it when you encounter other locations or factions such as the Thieves’ Guild who don’t have a bounty system.
