The story of a spin-off Assassin’s Creed took Ubisoft’s flagship to Russia. It needs to be adapted as a video game.

Ubisoft has a gold mine in Ubisoft. The series is now a globetrotting, time-traveling adventure, with virtually endless options for locations and times.

There are stories about Ancient Egypt Ancient Greece The Caribbean Age of Piracy and the French Revolution. The series has so much to offer, but there are many unexplored points of history. We’re looking forward to a game set in Russia’s past.

Russia was briefly mentioned in the series, albeit in the spin-off Assassin’s Creed Chronicles Russia as well as the comic Assassin’s Creed The Fall & The Chain. The latter is the subject of the discussion today.

The Fall & The Chain is written by Cameron Stewart and Karl Kerschl. It follows a protagonist named Daniel Cross who has “vivid hallucinations” of a previous life, that of Nicolai Orelov a Russian Assassin in the early twentieth century. The story follows Daniel’s “rise and fall from the ranks the Assassin Brotherhood and then his rise to the ranks the Templars.”

This is a great read that has received positive reviews. It’s worth reading if you are interested in learning more about the larger lore behind the Assassin’s creed franchise.

It’s fun to read stories about other assassins and their Russian adventures, but it would be much more enjoyable if we were able to play. As I mentioned earlier, there is an Assassin’s creed set in Russia. However, it’s a 2D game and not the open world games that we are used to.

It’s time to return, especially if we can enjoy the beautiful Russian architecture in its entirety.

The future of the AC series is still unknown, but it’s a very real possibility. Ubisoft has a number of projects planned. Ubisoft has sacrificed other franchises to focus on its flagship, including Fenyx Rising, which had its sequel recently cancelled.

Assassin’s Creed III: The Fall & The Chain is available on Amazon as a hard copy and an E-book.
