Assassin’s Creed Victory Project brings us back to London.

Mods for Assassin’s Creed Syndicate restore its dark and gritty London experience that was initially intended.

Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Syndicate’s release in 2015 took fans back to Victorian London just prior to the Second Industrial Revolution; featuring depressing atmosphere, pollution in the air, and crime pervading every corner. Much like modern-day London…

What if I told you that Syndicate went much deeper with its dark themes present in its final form and you can experience this initial vision with an exciting mod?

ACVictoryProject’s Assassin’s Creed Victory Project mod introduces several changes to Syndicate such as altering characters, weather conditions and dialogue to reflect its previous version as originally known – originally named Assassin’s Creed Victory – compared with London. One key difference was an overall more bleak and moodier vibe to its atmosphere than was present initially in its build version.

While incomplete, this version significantly alters the mood and tone of the game compared to what was intended, which was more upbeat and comical due to Evie and Jacob witty back-and-forth banter between themselves. Players will quickly notice Evie has disappeared as there was only intended for one protagonist during its original design.

Unfortunately, due to its creator leaving behind this project and only providing this version with their efforts already invested into it, many changes that were intended to enhance Assassin’s Creed Victory are yet unmade so this does not represent its intended experience fully.

No matter its shortcomings, Syndicate remains an effective attempt at returning it back to its serious roots. Entries since have taken on more fantastical themes – the RPG trilogy including Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla are prime examples as each leans more heavily on mythology and folklore rather than history.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage will launch later this year for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC platforms. This latest installment aims to return the series back to its roots of stealth/action gameplay while being more story-focused than its previous open world titles.

NexusMods now makes available the Assassin’s Creed Victory Project mod and you can immediately start downloading and playing it!
