RPG fans have their eye firmly set on Starfield for release this September; however, Baldur’s Gate 3 has also generated plenty of hype ahead of its full launch later in 2017.

With its promise of thrilling quests and battles, The Division 2 promises to captivate PC players upon its release; many have begun planning out builds they intend to use during their initial playthroughs.

Larian has added to the difficulty of decisions by providing more details of Illithid powers within their game and leading players through its intricate process to get it functioning as intended – however some feel this could have been better planned out.

Are You Longing To Preload Baldur’s Gate 3? Its Larian Studios recently confirmed via Twitter that pre-loading Baldur’s Gate 3 isn’t possible due to Steam not supporting pre-load for Early Access titles because switching would break gameplay for those already participating in Early Access. As Larian stated:

Players eager to dive right in on launch day have expressed disappointment that preloading the game wasn’t available; their inability caused some discussion on Reddit pages related to this game.

Although many analysts have pointed to legal ramifications as the motivation for prioritising full release over early access version compromise, others suggest that sunsetting this version earlier would have created a smoother transition process.

“While too late now to change anything, I think limiting Early Access access would have been better off before its official full release rather than leaving everyone waiting to download at once on day one,” suggested user Sylassian. This approach may save servers from potential disaster caused by large crowds downloading simultaneously causing too many hits at one time to go through at one time putting strain on servers and breaking everything.

“Honestly, this would stop all these people thinking they’re playing the final game right now,” stated user Cerulean_Shaman. “Steam has many people constantly posting that after having already spent all day or so playing and we are getting quite a few here too!”

And this sentiment has only been amplified by Larian’s advice that many players delete their early access saves and uninstall that version before downloading the full release to “reduce risk of file conflicts.”

Some players have still found ways to see things positively, with user Material_Ad_2970 suggesting: “Let’s just pretend we can preload starting August 3 and release date is August 4.”
