Xbox and PlayStation players will soon gain access to a free crossplay game as part of a limited-time trial offer this weekend, free and with crossplay!
Crash Team Rumble is a multiplayer party game which pits all your favourite Crash Bandicoot characters head-to-head in arena battles – from Crash himself, Neo Cortex, Tawna Ripperoo and Ripperoo himself all the way to Catbat as non-binary protagonist.
Two teams compete to collect as many wumpa fruits scattered around the arena and deposit them at drop-off points, using spin, slide and jump techniques against opponents as well as picking up several goofy powerups to give themselves an advantage over rival teams.
Though we felt the beta version left much to be desired, the game has significantly evolved since launch and should definitely be checked out when free!
Crash Team Rumble is currently nearing the conclusion of its initial season and looking forward to adding even more content over time, such as characters, modes and customisation options to keep players coming back!
On Xbox and PlayStation this Friday (August 11), a free trial of Fortnite: Battle Royale will go live between Friday, August 11th and 14th and allow gamers to explore what this unique title has to offer while also giving their friends access regardless of platform preference.
Any progress made during a free trial – be it levels, battle passes or cosmetic items acquired – will transfer over if and when purchasing it in future. It’s an incentive that keeps rewarding!
