Bully 2 appears to have been confirmed on Rockstar’s job listing.

Bully is widely recognized as both an underrated classic game and one for which many have an affection.

Anyone that has played Bully will know just how great of an experience it was and fans have long called for its sequel, so when I say that Bully may be underappreciated by Rockstar Games (rather than fans).

Rumors about Bully 2’s development have long swirled through the internet and it can become dispiritingly easy to tune them out after repeated miscommunication by various companies and various leakers. Still, fans remain hopeful that we might one day witness either an updated sequel to 2006 original or perhaps even an all new remake version that includes all its classic gameplay elements.

Comicbook.com reported on an intriguing new rumor recently; an alleged former developer from Rockstar Games claimed they worked on both Bully 2 and 3, though most likely this is just an accidental typo; more interesting still is their claim that Bully 2 development started two years after release; that leaves me thinking… If Bully 2 development began 15 years ago where is it now?

Rumours and speculation should always be taken with a grain of salt until proven otherwise, though Comicbook.com claims they have verified a former Rockstar Games employee as being involved. Unfortunately, with reports of GTA IV’s remake or likely rerelease being confirmed with Red Dead Redemption’s recent announcement and GTA VI set for an imminent arrival date soon enough, our wait time could extend into decades should a new Bully game ever be created.

Are you nostalgic for some classic Bully action? In 2016, Sony released the game as a classic game on PlayStation 4, fully compatible with modern Xbox consoles as well.
