Starfield will soon launch, and fans of Bethesda cannot contain their excitement for it!

Bethesda announced during its 45-minute ‘Starfield Direct’ presentation that Starfield has been developed over two decades – once just a dream and vision, now reality with it recently going gold!

Bethesda plans on taking some cues from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim with Starfield in hopes that we remain entertained for many years to come. As is often done, Bethesda draws upon past projects for inspiration when designing its latest projects; Starfield will not be any different!

As reported by GamesRadar during a Bethesda Q&A session on Discord, Starfield will make one key improvement over 2015’s Fallout 4. Specifically, Starfield’s jail system will more resemble Skyrim than Fallout 4, which featured no law system at all; unlike Skyrim however where criminals could either go directly to prison for breaking laws or surrender in exchange for small bribes.

“Starfield’s Settle Systems are more similar to Skyrim than Fallout 4’s Commonwealth in this respect – more crime!,” according to lead designer Emil Pagliarulo of Starfield. There’s civilisation, government, laws – in some instances we even explore themes such as crime and punishment within this futuristic universe!

Not much can be learned until Starfield is released; however, we know there will be NPC bounty hunters which could play an integral part. Only time will tell.

Starfield will launch on PC and Xbox Series X|S on 6 September 2023 unless preordering Premium or Constellation Edition, when your release date would be 1 September. In addition, Xbox Game Pass customers can gain access to Starfield!
