Insiders have revealed another Walking Dead game is imminent, likely following the plotline of its TV counterpart.
Years since it first hit mainstream culture, The Walking Dead remains popular today. Although its main television series reached its final episode air date in November 2022, multiple spin-off shows will continue after that point.
Fear The Walking Dead, Walking Dead: Dead City and World Beyond are among many others that make up this group of television programs.
Fans will likely be delighted to know a video game could soon follow, recreating the first season and telling its tale on Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo and PC platforms.
Although much remains speculative and unknown at this stage, let’s go through what has already been spoken of concerning this new video game.

Recently, DeaLabs Magazine disclosed new details regarding this upcoming game; including plot points, platforms used, pricing point and much more.
According to reports, The Walking Dead game will be a third-person action title which follows seasons 1-4 of its TV show. Players will take control of Rick Grimes while gradually building an alliance including Glenn Shane Daryl et al.
This game is currently in development for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC and expected to release sometime later this year with an expected premium price point.
Though not confirmed yet, such speculation seems plausible considering we’ve had several Walking Dead videogames such as Telltale’s critically-acclaimed version in recent memory.
Hopes of seeing an official debut for this game soon are high, as it would allow us to relive some of its finest moments from those four season’s of The Wire.
