PC Freebie: Epic Games 9/10 RPG and classic platformer available now to download free.
Epic Games has announced two more free titles for RPG and platformer fans who would like to expand their library.
Check out Black Book and Dodo Peak below, available free on Epic Games’ Store immediately!
Black Book, a dark RPG inspired by Slavic mythology and folklore lore. According to its description: “Fight evil forces with card-based battles as you explore an underworld where humans cohabitate alongside mythological creatures!”
After taking control of a young sorceress, players will need to collect an assortment of spell cards in order to form an unstoppable deck for use against demonic enemies in intense card battles. You will also solve puzzles for progress while recruiting untrustworthy demons as allies on their quest against you!
Fans and critics adored it for its stunning art style which beautifully captured Slavic themes, garnering regular 9/10 scores from critics and players alike. A must play RPG for card game enthusiasts or those simply interested in experiencing something different!
Dodo Peak, described as an arcade platformer of yesteryear with modern elements, invites players to experience parent Dodo bird birds on an expedition to save their offspring from peril.
Players must hop across mountains while dodging enemies and collecting power-ups without leaving themselves extinct. Reminiscent of Que-Bert in its four direction hop mechanic, players will need to time their jumps correctly or risk becoming extinct!
These games can be claimed and downloaded for free from the Epic Games Store by August 24th; so make sure you act fast before they revert back to full price!
